Recap on pearls from last night.
Jesus pick and chose his words purposely.

The disciples heard Jesus, but they could not understand the fact that He had to go through these sufferings for messiah to appear.
Grace does not require repentance, grace requires we believe in Him. Repentance is an act whilst grace is given by God.

Abraham would have 2 sets of offspring.
Earthly - sand - Israel
Heavenly - stars in the sky - an offspring of Abraham through Christ that would be of spiritual descendants - the church/the body of Christ

Moses established a nation. The Jews.
But when this happened, the descendants were no longer 1 division. It was not gentile and Jew.
Jew governed by the law and gentile by their own consciousness.

Christ
When He came, the very people that He came to rejected Him.
Christ suffered and died for the Jews and for those who would believe in the message of Christ.

God is not going to allow you to look super spiritual.

Now we have 3 entities.
The Jews, the Gentiles, and the church.
The church, ecclisia, would be extracted from the Jew and gentile.

The male individual through the 7 parables is Christ. He sold everything He had to buy the church.
To the Jewish mind, the sea represents the nations of the earth.
He forms the pearl in the midst of chaos darkness turmoil and confusion.
You can't forget that the pearl is being formed in the darkness, that's why Jesus said, you are the light of the world. Without darkness there is no light.
What is true for the church corporately is true for the believer personally.
You are a peculiar person, not because you're crazy, but because God has called you to be different.

Matthew 7:24-25(NLT)
"though" means "despite the fact"
Storms are a fact of life. While God is fashioning you, shaping you, there will be storms.
Storms = a violent disturbance in the natural course of life.

3 reasons that storms come while we are on the process.
Jonah 1
Jonah is taking the storm lightly. Jonah's storm is a storm caused by disobedience.

1) disobedience
When you know what's right and you do wrong anyway.
Or when you know what's the right thing to do and you let others talk you into doing something else.
When you're disobedient, you'll have a false sense of security.
Jonah 1:11-12
The storm of disobedience can lead you to a place of self-pity.
After awhile people will believe you and give you what you want, to be thrown overboard.
You're in deep trouble of disobedience when the trouble has to spit you out.
Repentance = accepting responsibility.
And obedience. Doing what God has asked you to do.

2) Disciple's storm.
Obedience can get you into a storm also.
You can expect divine intervention. Not to take you out of it, but to give you peace.

3) Paul's storm. (other people)
He prayed that he could go to Rome.
You never know how God is gonna answer you're prayer. But He doesn't tell you how He's gonna bring you there.
*Paul got into this storm because of other people's decision.
God may give you come assurances that you're not gonna be penalized for that bad decision, but you're gonna go through the storm anyway.
Psalm 138
The Lord will complete His purpose in my life.
Paul did nothing in reaction to the story. You just gotta ride it out. But God guarantees that at the end of the storm, you won't be hurt, you'll be better.

Home is a place where you are welcomed where you look forward to going to
Conviction grows stronger under any test and any trial
Matthew 13
The bible is not a formal exposition of science, history, sociology, and government, psycology but it touches on it
The bible is a complete declaration from God concerning himself from God concerning Himself and His actions
God did not reveal to the writers technology in the future, the writers were limited to explain it with what they know
The bible covers more than a period of more than 6000 years
The bible also show that humanity is not on a raft and going where the current brings , but it has a destiny of where it will go
Matthew 13:1-2
Matthew 12:46-50
He is denying his eartly relation with His family and pointing to a new family with people who believe Him and trust in Him
Jesus was rejected in tthe past few chapters , there was a constant rejection that led to a turning point
They had 1 image of the Messiah but because Jesus did not fit into their image they rejected Him.
Matthews 13:3-4
He begins to speak in parabolic form
A parable means double reference
It has a surface meaning and a deeper meaning
A parable is to close out the lazy folks and draw in the serious folks
When you lack depth of understanding and knowledge and understanding you get easily swayed
Only with that depth and knowledge it will strengthen the body of Christ
Matthew 13:10-15
Jesus was going to turn the message from jewish to the gentiles
Matthew 13:16-18
In the gospel of matthew he goes into 7 parables which He called the mystery or secrets of heaven
John 20:8-10
The disciples were still trapped in the old testament
They didn't understand the gospel of grace
God will not force us to understand something when it is not as if He gave it to us earlier we will not understand it and reject it
Wheat and tear look the same until harvest
The only way you can discover the difference when you uproot them
The roots of the tear are entangled around the roots of the wheat because the wheat is like truth and truth can stand by itself
It means good and evil will continue
The kingdom of heaven will be like a pearl
Matthew 13:46
Whatever you esteem or value in life will control your life
When the bible speaks of your heart it speaks of the totallity of your being
There are natural pearls and fake pearls
Jesus calls the kingdom a pearl of great value
A man who is searching and finds 1 and sells all that he has to buy that pearl
Pearls are formed on the inside on the shell of a clam or oyster , the pearl is form when a parasite invades the clam or oyster
The clam or oyster embraces the invader it smutters the parasite until it dies, it then produce necar which covers the parasite layer upon layer and it forms a pearl
It means taking a negative and changing it to a positive over a period of time , layer by layer and even increase the value
It could never be form because of the invasion
The word sea to the Jewish mind means nationsin chaos and restlessness in alienation from God
Something in the midst of all the darkness , all that chaos a pearl will be formed
All good things are upstream
Anything that is good in life must require a sacrifice
It shows up in the choices with the choices we make

We got to stop doing the same thing we do

The on the back of our mind got to be how can i be more on fire for God.
4 Traps in our life
Trap 1: We stop growing
A growing church require a growing people
As we grow older we got to learn to be flexible

We got to be a great testimony to God and how do we do that it is to be obedient to God
We got to flexible to change
What has brought us for far, might not bring us further
New problem requires new solution
A unwillingness to change is fear
Trust God
Antidote for this trap :Never stop growing
Trap 2: You stop caring

What you used to like , became a chore
3 things that causes a lose of spiritual passion
1: Over familar of with the spiritual things with God
Nothing excites you anymore
Becareful not be over familar
What you don't treasure will be taken away from you
2: Lack of balance
Became too extreme
3: Compassion fatigue
Don't become too self centered
We are too busy and we stop caring

Do everything with a loyal heart
How to maintain your spiritual passion
1: Never forget why you are in church, why are you serving
2: Never stop praying
When you feel discourage, when you feel down

There is a great temptation to stop seeking God
Why can't we have both, we can!

Don't harden your heart
3: Remember your first love
Do the things you did when you had your first love
You got to act your way to a feeling
The most shallow way to live is to say God i don't feel like

Becareful what you say, don't say things that will cause you your salvation
The antidote is to maintain your spiritual passion
Trap 3: Stop being sensitive to people
2 Samuel 9:1
Learn to be sensitive
Speak words in season with grace
Never stop showing kindness to people with grace
Trap 4: Getting distracted
If you lose your vision , you lose your mission
2 Samuel 11:1-2
When you get distracted you will encounter problems
What will keep you from serving your LORD
Don't get trap
There is alot of things in life you can be commited to but sometimes you must say No
The antidote is you must be focused
Especially when you are attached
Don't always hang out with your partner only make yourself look available , so people will not be intimidated to approach you
God will make a way for you if you are for Him
God will provide for us
What is our trap?
Have vision, have a mission
Get back your spiritual passion
Know why you are in church
You will never run away
Lets really last, don't just talk the talk but walk the walk
Close and lock the door of backsliding and throw away the key

C H R I S T M A S ' S C O M I N G !

Hello W450 ! Look at this beauty lightings ! Any hint of who I am ? I'm the cutest, ke-ai-est, chubbiest, friendliest, every positive things you can ever think of! I'm Miss BellyJelly! :) I'd decided to update this blog as it's really rotting! X'mas is round the corner and I'm wondering how are we doing right now? Are you one of the laborers who is sowing the seeds in people's life ?

Y'know, not to stress you guys up and by the way, you shouldn't feel stress at all! ^^ Sometimes before I sleep, I do like to rest on my bed and start to think about many things. There are a few times when I thought about me serving God. Sometimes I asked myself, 'Why didn't I do this? Why did I do that?' Why ? How come ? And many questions started to flow through my mind. There are times when I regretted my actions. The feeling of being lazy to reach out or to connect with people, the laziness of calling up friends and talk to them, or to meet up with them to have lunch or something. I do regret not doing so. What I'm trying to say is, X'mas is round the corner and there are millions of people out there we know who are not saved. Don't let them pass you by. (:

Once you speak to them, they are a part of your life. Don't miss out the chance of bringing them to Christ. You never know that you might be the only one being able to reach out to them. I always had a motto in my life, which is, 'I don't want to owe anyone their salvation'. This X'mas, I really want to do my best in reaching out, meeting people, connecting with them, and I believe W450 is able to do so :)

I have two verses to share :) Lamentations 3 : 22-23, 25-27.
Through the Lord's mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness. The Lord is good to those who wait for Him, to the soul who seeks Him. It is good that one should hope and wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord. It is good for a man to bear the yoke in his youth.

I just wanna encourage everyone of us, including me that, no matter what situation you might face, never feel that you're unworthy to serve God. Never ever feel that way. Because it is written in the bible that, His compassion is renewed every single day, His mercies does not fail. Friends, as 2010 is coming to an end, let's pick up our cross and finish our race well. Let's seek God, draw closer to Him, rely on Him more and more each day. This Christmas, let's run the extra mile for God! Let W450 be the laborers that God is finding. Let's sow the seeds and in due season, we'll reap the harvest IN JESUS NAME ! Jiayou !

I reeeeeeeeeeaaally want to thank God and W450 today!! (:

Hey guys let's keep this place updated yeah! Excited excited! :D

Today was really an awesome for W450 peeps! I felt God's presence and love flowing so strongly during service, and truly the power of unity was evident!

And we had an awesome time of fellowship during dinner, then at JP! Yeah?! For those who weren't there don't worry, there are more than plenty opportunities in the weeks to come!

God's agape love can really change lives. Even if you feel that a certain person's heart is already so hard, so unchangeable, always have faith in God's love to do the miracle.

Today, I felt the full power of God's love not just in my life, but in the people around me, the people who matter.

First it was my mom, then church, then you guys, and then my 2 best friends.

How awesome can it be!

I just really wanna thank you guys for always being together as a cell group! This is really the place where I can call home, where I can feel at ease, be myself without fear of rejection.

This is the place of encouragement, joy, strength, unity, love and God!

Let's keep on loving God and loving people!

Can't wait to see you guys again!!!!!!!!!!!! (:

YAY! I feel very very happy now!! God really showed that He is a provider not only in basic needs that we voiced out but even needs we don't voice out. I just realised that was another Christian in my course!!!!!!! I feel so happy and blessed by God cause FINALLY I have someone to rant to! But I really feel happy that I can find someone who can relate to and what is best my friend is from CHC TOO~~ but she left church BUT she asked my to pray for her and I felt like WOW , never feel that someone will ask me to pray for the person before and I really hope that 1 day I can get her to slide back!! YEAH so Lord really showed me He is Jehovah Jireh our provider not only for things we voiced out but things we want deep down. THANK YOU LORD!!!

Hey W450 ! Belly belly button is hereeeeee !(: I'm here to share about the 2 days that I went for evening prayer meeting! It's really exciting, not only you meet God and experience Him there, but you learn things from people around you(; Well, I was blown away by what Andreas said on the first evening prayer meeting I went. He said, pray BIG ! pray BOLDY ! Don't limit God's ability because He is greater than how our minds could ever imagine ! What ever you ask for, expect it to happen into your life ! When you expect something to happen in your life, that's faith. Pray big, visualize, confess, EXPECT ! Don't pray small prayers people. Anything is possible to those who believes. Amen ?

I was also blown away on the second day I went for the evening prayer meeting. Pastor was saying about speaking in tongues. When you commune with God, don't speak in tongues shortly. As in, don't speak in tongues so little. For example, you're eating lunch with your friends at mac. Do you just " How's your day ? " Silent* " Want to eat ? " Silent* Like, short short short sentence. Take a breath and then speak in tongues! It's speaking to God sharing with Him so many things in the spirit. And, I'd learnt that speaking in tongues is really so awesome ! Your holy spirit would start to pray prayers that you didn't really pray for. The holyspirit will pray for the trails thats about to come, he will pray for the things you didn't pray for. Isn't it awesome to have our holy spirit in our lives ? Haha. I want to encourage you guys, to go for prayer meeting if this round you guys didn't attend. It's not all about pray pray pray and nothing else. You'll learn something in every prayer meeting you attend. hhahahahahaa. Alright ! This is my take away ! You guys should post up your take aways too and share with us !!!!! LOVE YA !

Jeremy's Testimony

I decided that i should share with you guys the testimony of our beloved MonkeyBoy Yong Le :)

Extract:

"Only 2 months and the half has passed since I was saved by inviting Jesus into my life and I felt so much change in my life. For 16 years my heart was homed to the devil who clothed me with robes of failure , pain , sadness and hatred . 16 years of my life I felt locked up, complacent and without a care of the people around me. But when Jesus entered me He changed me in ways I never expected to change in. I felt my lowest at aged 16. During secondary 3 I was sleeping in class, not doing homework and game addicted to the point that my grades were so poor that I almost retain due to a D7 average but by the grace of God I was pulled up to secondary 4 however I didn't knew that was God working His miracles on me. As all my closest friends retained I felt alone however I always have a feeling I am not fully alone yet I had not the slightest clue who or what was following me closer than my shadow . Slowly I tried to make new friends and secondary 4 went pass as one of the best years of my life , my results improved from a D7 average to a A2-B3 standard and my friends circle expanded . I had more friends than ever, old friendships were revived. Everything was good but something was missing from my life.

As fate would had it God send his first vassal to ram into my life and break a part of me to allow Him in and that vassal was Crystalbel. During november period I played maplestory and met Crystalbel in some party quest we chat for quite abit and became friends , and one day she invited me to church. As I went to church only once last time at Heart of God church I felt the strange atmosphere that was around the area. A rather soothing yet unfamiliar atmosphere which made me feel awkward in church . However I accepted to go meet her and though I was late and the drama play was fun but I completely didn't understand it at all I felt the similar atmosphere however this time it made me feel very comfortable like I was at home. During fellowship God send His next vassal to break the closed up part of me to allow Jesus to manifest into me and that vassal is Jonathan .

Jonathan made me felt a very strong sense of friendliness which made me felt very comfortable and though my questions might be as outrageous and annoying and so was my attitude he didn't reject me instead he became closer to me and we became great friends. Slowly slowly I start to understand why church was like this and learn abit more about Jesus. However I still felt something was missing. I know Jesus is with me but I want to have more of Him, so much more that I could even pick up his scent , however it took me quite long to realised God is with us but not physically . One day I made up my mind to become a Christian and at that moment the devil told me ," Are you sure? You will not be able to do many many things when you are with God. Just stay a free thinker~~ God will still love you whether or not you are a Christian so why bother? It is more fun to be free" yet I didn't really bother to listen as he spoke for too long but my heart was fully made up and I converted just to realized that there was a LOAD full of things i been doing that was wrong all along. Just then I thought to myself Ahh what did I get myself into, I can't lie, I can't swear, I can't even pray to my ancestors but God doesn't sit and watch , I learnt that if I take a step to MOVE towards God He will move a Thousand steps to make me closer to Him. In less than a week or so all my sins and non glorifying were gone from me . But if it wasn't for this important vassal which taught me all this I wouldn't have knew where to start off and learn more about Him. This vassal was Sandra.

She is my bible study teacher and she taught me many things though i am quite unteachable , noisy and really a nuisance she still teach me and that really I thank her. Finally when I thought all my tribulations are over many many more came such as losing relationship with some friends. Family trouble and more however I learnt that whatever you lose in pursuing God , God will always return them to you 30 folds 60 folds maybe even a 100 folds.

Then vassals came crashing into me like some rugby people snatching for a ball from me. And those were the members of W450 and all my other CHC and Christian friends. We talked we shared experiences we laugh and though i annoyed like 99% of them TO let all of you know I annoy you cause I love you XD but if too annoying please say. Bit by bit I learn that being Christian is not about your life being saved is about the life of others. If Crystalbel was to be selfish I wouldn't had been saved. If Jonathan didn't bother to be friends with me I wouldn't had even bother to keep coming back. If Sandra didn't help me with knowing about God my Christian life would be dry and fruitless. And if all the W450 members CHC and other Christian friends didn't help me with my walk i might have just fall and back slided and lastly if God didn't send Jesus down to save us none of us would have even had a chance to go to heaven .

All of this acts done were done not to please humans but to please God but mainly to save the people of the world. If God was selfish He wouldn't had sent Jesus down to die for our sins. So what if we could go to heaven it doesn't benefit God at all. He could have just recreated humans perfectly but instead He sent His only begotten Son to die for us on the cross to erase all our sins to cleanse us all to change our life so that we could carry on His mighty name to do the works of others and impact the life of others.

Though only 2 and the half months has passed my life took a 180 degree change for the better and i never ever regretted making that choice of becoming a Christian. If i would to say about all the things that God has done for me in this short 2 and the half months I can fill a book about it. But I am too lazy to type every single one of them but I know that I have changed and my friends know and mainly God knows and I hope I can do him proud."

I am so inspired by his testimony seeing how God has changed him 180degrees! Indeed the God we serve is real and alive! Let's be inspired to do so much more for God w450!

In the midst of the hustle and bustle of our modern urban lifestyles, it's so easy to prioritise the unimportant and neglect the important. We spend so much time and effort obtaining things which are temporal but totally miss out on That which is eternal. That being our relationship with Him. It's not about what we know but Who we know. This Easter, i got reminded again that He is the sole reason we live. I couldn't help but tear when Jesus got whipped and nailed to the cross.

Every single stripe, every single nail, every single humiliation He went through, was for Us.

As little children we would dream of Christmas morn

Of all the gifts and toys we knew we’d find

But we never realized a baby born one blessed night

Gave us the greatest gift of our lives

We were the reason that He gave His life

We were the reason that He suffered and died

To a world that was lost He gave all He could give

To show us the reason to live

As the years went by we learned more about gifts

The giving of ourselves and what that means

On a dark and cloudy day a man hung crying in the rain

All because of love

I finally found the reason for living

It’s in giving every part of my heart to Him

And all that I do every word that I say

I’ll be giving my all just for Him, for Him

We are the reason that He gave His life

Let's not jump on the bandwagon of getting so busy in life and missing out on what is truly important. Getting in and out of relationships, being materialistic, desperately striving for promotion, all these won't take us where we belong. Let's look to Him and walk with Him for the rest of our lives.

Wow the prayer meeting was AWESOME, though it lasted till 3am which most normally I will be pigging already but I feel FULLY refreshed ! The presence of God was strong. Seriously overnight prayer meetings are awesome~~ too bad cannot stay in town and slack but all is good. The book of Philppians is a VERY strong book and it really impacted me during the prayer meeting. All was great ^^ praise God that I was allowed to God and it was totally worth missing POS and anything to go. OK TIME TO PLAY POKEMON!! BYEBYE ALL!!

Hey all W450 !(: Bel is back in the house !(: Surprised to see me updating things here ? Hahahaha. Yes, no one asked me to post but somehow I just felt like posting. I know that everyone of us are in a very deep valley now in our life and sometimes you just felt like exploding. You just feel like screaming at the top of your voice and ask God to stop every single thing because you're too pain, too hurt, too tired to move on. I'm like that, and I'd been suffering for almost a month and somehow I feel like my flesh is tearing apart, making me unable to breathe, unable to move on.

But as I was chatting with Jonathan yesterday night, I really cried all out, asking him how long will the war end. It will end, it will. I'm not here posting because I want people to know that I'm in my bad time now, but I want to encourage all of you to really be strong. If you fall this year, next year you still need to go through another trail that's identical to what you're going through now. So whats the point of postponing what you have to go through ? Breakthroughs will come, and I'm waiting. Sometimes you will feel like, hais, God, why do we need to be tested. Why do I need to feel this way when I don't want? You got extremely frustrated, but God is telling everyone of us, Don't give up, my dear child, you are almost there, and at the end, you will be with me at the peak of the mountain, and victory is ours to take. Don't give up, as I'm here with you.

I believe everybody's greatly impacted by the word, right? So for those who wasn't there, I shall post it out for you guys' benefit! There you go ...

After service, we'd an awesome and fun-filled Captain's ball event! Even though W450 did not have many people participating in the game, I'm glad all of us enjoyed the fellowship session. And today, we'd our cellgroup over at Keith's place! :)

Jonathan also preached an awesome word! I don't know about the rest but yes, I'm certainly blessed by the word. And to encourage you all, remember this: "Nothing is impossible with God, for whatever He has said or promise, it will be done."

And yes, as the season of building fund is near, let's prepare our heart and give to God. It's said in the bible that whatever we sow, we shall reap. So don't the miss the opportunity to be bless abundantly by the Lord! :)

Great Start!

The first service of 2010 was awesome!
Pastor Tan shared with us on,
3 keys a believer should do in this new year(:

1. Forget the former things (Is 43:18)
Be it good/bad, let's not be stuck in the past(our acheivements, failures and hurts), because God is a God of new things! Pst taught us to put one foot forward in faith no matter what the devil throws at us :D
Indeed, let's not be fearful, but step out in faith this year for God, to do more things for Him! Greater breakthroughs shall come! WOOHOO. Also, in our own race, dont compare yourself with others. Focus on the potential things that God has placed in YOUR life. Dont be distracted while reaching for your new goals! JYJY! See yourself CHANGING for the better this 2010!

2. Get a vision of new things from God (Is 43:19)
I guess what Pst shared in this 2 key really impact most of us.
He shared a revelation in John 1:14-17, where in one of the verses, it says "... grace for grace"
As you read the verses i stated in John 1:14-17, you will know that we're blessed with grace through our Saviour, Jesus Christ.
And truly, we're always in the grace of the Lord.
The abilities and talents we have comes by the grace of God.
This is the common grace we have. And God always add grace upon grace upon grace in our lives.
This is 'grace for grace'.
God adds in grace upon our common grace to help us in our works, doing great things exceedingly and abundantly for us!
So as we start off in this 2010, let's ask God to add grace upon grace in our lives, so that we can shine for Him!
Catch a new vision from God, and plan SMARTER goals!

A. Thinking positive thoughts.
In the goals you make,
Be/have...
Specific
Measurable
Action plan
Realistic
Time conscious
Expectation Management
Revelation

B. Visualize the dream
C. Believe in God's promises
D. Speak our the vision.

As we step into the 4-dimension, have faith and trust God! Just like Dr.Yonggi Cho, who did the 4 keys to breakthrough and get his dream for his church (:
Also, always always remember to keep your faith in the same level that you had when you received the Rhema from God. Tribulations shall come, but do not get stumbled! Keep yourself in prayers and fastings!
Then you shall see God's promises to you be done in your life as you persevere just like Abraham! :D

3.Give thanks and praise continually to God (Is 43:21)
I personally thinks that this is an important point. We should always give thanks to God regardless of our situation(good/bad).
I've seen how things changed in my life as i give thanks and praise to God.
Giving praise and trusting in the Lord in difficult moments is never easy.
But we've got to learn to let God take control, letting His works be done in our lives to make it seen to people
Just like Paul Pott (Britain's Got Talent), who keep trusting God and praising Him despite his situation (being laugh/mock by ppl that he can never acheive his dream)
Now, Paul Pott is a famous opera singer! :D
Praise the Lord!

Hence, as we step into this new year, have you got a goal/dream in mind? If no, go think about it! Let's not waste 2010 and walk aimlessly yeah! Start planning!
If you have got a goal, then continue doing good with faith! Believe you can do it.
Nothing is impossible with God! Amen :D

Year End Appreciation

Dear all!

It's the 2nd last day of the year and i thought that it'ld be appropriate for me to do a year end post!

This year has been a tough one for a lot of us in the cellgroup, despite it being our O/N Level year, us having inner struggles or problems in the family. I'm really glad that we've made it through!

Just wanna say that i'm so proud of all of you for fighting the good fight of faith! There were so many times when we just wanted to throw in the towel and give up the fight, but we still held on to Him and onto each other to pull through the darkest times. When one's faith was wavered, we prayed and comforted. When one was going through the 'wilderness', we called to encourage and pray. When one was falling, we were there to catch the fall.

Personally, it was also very tough for me as i had to transit to a new phase in my life. There were really many times i wanted to raise the white flag, but it was you guys who gave me the strength to carry on. Your love for God and each other reminded me that there isn't a valley too deep that God cannot take me through. I thank you for the phone calls, notes of encouragement, and most importantly being my constant source of joy and encouragement.

I really thank all of you for being such an amazing part of my life, thank you for loving me, thank you for running with me. This cellgroup would not have broken through if not for your hardwork and prayers. Thank you also for the card and gift given to me on appreciation. Not forgetting, thanks for bringing so much joy and laughter into my life.
I believe with all of my heart that the year 2010 WILL BE the best year yet! It's gonna be a year of breakthroughs for all of us, be it in the area of our studies, relationship with our families, finances!

The Latter Rain shall indeed be more glorious than the Former! Whatever that God has done for us in the past years, next year He will do unto us a greater work! Let's get ready for an awesome year ahead not leaving any one of us behind!

Yup, the venue of our chalet is @ HomeTeamNS in Pasir Ris.
Thus, on that day(27th Dec), we're all gonna be meeting at 1.30pm in Pasir Ris! :D
Please remember to bring along your clothes, TOOTHBRUSH!, towels, sleeping bag if you have and etc(your facial mask, gel, and stuffs which idk what) if you're staying over.
HEH HEH.

On the 27th, we're also gonna have our BBQ in the night.
Be excited for this, cause it's all about FOODSSSSSSSS.
HOHOHO. You wont be disappointed, there're YUMMY foods available. HAHAHA -.-

Last Wednesday, Bigboss, Sandrala, Ping and I had a spirit-filled prayermeeting at my house ! It was indeed a great experience. Flowing with the spirit when you pray, bringing down the presence of God when we worship, tarrying in the presence of God. In my everyday life, I want to experience God this way. Living in His presence is what I desire most. I believe after the prayer meeting, all of us were super refresh ! C: Let's continue praying for growth, visions and our own spiritual lives !

After the prayer meeting, we ordered mac C: Haha, it was a great time of fellowship. Bigboss cannot live without fries. Lol. So, maybe X'mas present you guys can buy him 100packets of fries. Haha ! After eating, we headed back to my room and play saboteur !! We played from 5plus pm till 10pm -,- & they came over to my house at 1pm. It's a great time man! We also watched final destination4 half-way (>_<) After everything we're doing, it's time for camwhoring ! So, enjoy the pics below. Hiakhiak.

Christmas used to be a day for me to enjoy yummy Turkey and receive gifts. In the past, I always think there's no big difference from the other day except for my own semi-belief in Santa Claus. This year, I learnt that Christmas was actually the birth of Jesus. The One who gave up His life willingly before we could even acknowledge this fact, the One who did all of this out of nothing but the love He has for us.

Many out there had personal encounters with Him and learnt of His love for us. Most of us were grateful then but slowly as time goes by, every little promises we made to Him were forgotten. Think things via this perspective: If your partner breaks every promises he made to you, how many times will you forgive him? If your partner fails you times and again, how many times will you be forgiving towards him? Once, twice. But for the third time, your heart will eventually find it too hard to trust. No?

Today, Jesus wants to tell both you and I that He is never too far away from us. He will be there to protect you, love you and comfort you every time. He's the only love that never fails and betray us, neither will he forsakes us. He still loves us the same way despite us failing Him times and again, despite of all the mistakes we made.

It's never too late to make a decision now, He's at the door of your heart. You have two choices now: One, you allow Him to enter into your heart and start this relationship again. Or two, to ignore the call and continue leading an uncertain life. Make your choice now, let it be a choice you'll never regret for the rest of your life.

Many know Jesus died but not all knows why. In fact, we were the reason.

AN IMPACT ON THE EDERLY LIVES!

yoyo people! gonna blog about my experience while serving! :D
ST LUKE and DIALECT CHURCH.

well, i went to help out at the st luke elderly care on friday. we went there to sing for them.
i had tons of fun that time. especially when you see the smiles on everyone's face. i really felt that i made an impact on their lives. sometimes its not about doind something great, but something as simple as singing songs can impact their lives. we can show them how much we care through little things like this. it was really an awesome time there too! :D

on sunday, i went to help out at the dialect church too. i saw alot of ederly that turn up for their big day event. it was super cool. all of them was so exciting for the service to start! hahahaha.
and when the service ended, i saw each of them leaving with a smile on their face. :D it really bought comfort to my heart knowing how God had touched them during the service. this made me even more burden for my grandparents' salvation. Dialect church's big day event was successful and im proud to be a part of it! :D

and above all that, i know i've stand in the gap for yilun to really avail to help out when help is needed! just feel that availabilty is so important in our lives. i really enjoyed serving the elderly! i know you guys will too! i strongly encourage you guys to avail yourself next time!! :D:D:D

P.S. honestly, the feelings i felt cant be easily posted with words. you guys have to feel them for yourself. it's reallt awesome to be able to help out and make impact on people's lives(:

Hello all w450(: I just wanna take this time to share how I feel about this morning prayer meeting session and some things I want to share. Well this morning prayer meeting was awesome! If you never try going for a morning prayer meeting, try going one of this day in the week !(: I can assure you that you wouldn't regret. Even though it's tiring, but it's worthwhile. Amen ? (: When I started praying this morning, I felt God's presence really strong. I don't even feel tired, I din know time passes so fast. But yea, the feeling is totally different when you start of the day in prayer, and whats more ? It's in the house of God !(: HAHA! I wanna take this time to share my testimony also, I wanna thank God that today I'm able to go for the morning prayer meeting and that His grace is always upon me. Even like times when I'm out of track, but God still reminds me that He's with me. Until now, I never fail to feel His love.

Okeh! Now, I'm gonna share something. I went for makeup cellgroup last saturday and I was amazed by what Calvin said. Most of the cellgroups lacks in loving people of who they are. I wasn't saying our cellgroup but I was reflecting at myself. I feel that whenever new friends come, we should let God's love to shine through us. Because the acceptance we show, plays a huge part in retaining them too. Never give up on one another because you don't know what great calling God has planned for that person. All I wanted to share was let's change to be someone who love like how Jesus did. (: HEHE ! Have a great week ahead !(: May God bless each and everyone of you! :D Muacks !

Also, you have to MAKE & BRING your own food, so that everyone can try!

Just thought that i should dedicate a post to my beloved cellgroup! So here goes..!

First things first, i really want to thank God for the grace that He has showered upon this cellgroup. Although we may be a sheep that are spotted and full of blemishes, but God has never failed to look beyond our weaknesses but at the gifts and talents that He has placed in our lives. There have been so many times that we have let Him down, but never once has He given up on us. This grace is so undeserving yet He has poured it out on us in such abundance and I am truly thank Him for that!

And also, i wanna say that i LOVE every single one of the sheep for being who they are! I love them for their jokes, i love them for their tears, and i love them for just being lame and fun with me! I really thank God for every single one of them that He has placed in my life and i believe that He has put us together for a divine appointment! There may be times when i really feel like strangling(quite often though :p)them, but i know that everything happens for a reason! And every trial that God has allowed us to go through will only strengthen our faith and bring us closer together!

So i believe that our cellgroup will be a family that is overflowing with love for one another and also for the new friends that will join us in time to come! And of course, we will be a cellgroup that loves God so much that we cannot do without Him at all!

Last but definitely not least, we shall surely live out our Motto in our daily living!

Thick Skin, Thin Heart.

This is what we will be, to love God wholeheartedly and to love people fervantly!
